PROFILE After having disposed of its energy activities in 2009 (see press release sale Oranje-Nassau Energie B.V.) ORANJE-NASSAU GROEP B.V. ('ONG'), in close cooperation with its shareholder Wendel SA, aims on investments in internationally oriented companies. Wendel is listed on the Paris Stock Exchange. ONG is mainly involved in long-term projects (5 to 15 years) in which its international network and industrial background provide a solid basis for further development and expansion of its investments. ONG invests for the long-term as shareholder in listed or unlisted companies aiming on further growth and development. ONG takes part in the definition and implementation of strategies further strengthening the funding necessary for the success of the investment. The investment strategy and development of ONG takes place in close interaction with the management teams of the companies in which ONG is a shareholder. This partnership is at the heart of the value creating process. ONG offers active and constant support, sharing the risks and providing expertise as well as financial and technical skills. ONG is not involved in the day-to-day management of the business which remains the responsibility of the company's management. Nevertheless, ONG has representation commensurate with its investment in the Committees and Boards of Directors of the companies in which it has invested. ONG can be involved for the long-term with its investments mainly because they are funded from ONG's own equity.
